Freshman Bethany Hector (Jaffrey, N.H.) hit an RBI single and classmate Sarah Walton (Poland, Maine) followed with a two-run double in the seventh inning of the nightcap Saturday afternoon as Lasell rallied from behind to defeat the University of Saint Joseph, 6-4, and earn a split of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) softball doubleheader at West Haven High School. The Blue Jays won the opener, 3-0, on a five-hit shutout by sophomore Amaria Sharon (Tolland, Conn.)

In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 600 students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.
